Before you can pay

This is Algorand TestNet. The USDC is not real money, but the transaction is — it settles on a public chain and you get a transaction ID.

  1. 1A TestNet account with a little ALGO for its minimum balance — TestNet ALGO faucet. The facilitator pays the transaction fee for you; it cannot pay your minimum balance.
  2. 2Opt in to testnet USDC, asset 10458941. An Algorand account cannot hold or send an asset it has not opted into.
  3. 3Some testnet USDC — Circle's faucet, with Algorand TestNet selected.
